The suede is crafted from the underside of leather and sanded for a soft, smooth finish. It is sourced from farms in the Rio Grande do Sul region and tanned in Brazil without the use of harmful or prohibited chemicals. The dyes comply with current regulations, and careful attention is given to responsible water usage throughout the tanning process. The suede is also treated with PFC-free water-repellent oils to help protect the sandals from light rain.
